| Kevin Conlon Link to Kevin’s Portfolio Kevin has worked as a faculty member and an administrator at several private art and design colleges. He also has over 15 years of consulting experience in higher education. Kevin’s art practice is diverse in both content and approach, with traditional portraiture in cast bronze or plastic, and other metaphorical sculptures created in a wide range of materials such as bronze, welded steel, concrete, wood, cast and laminated plastics, and paper. Recent work has used contrasting materials, some durable and some not, to build metaphorical narratives around ideas of time, power, strength, and integrity. | Joan Marie Conlon Link to Joan’s Portfolio Joan served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant, and as a human resources professional with the federal government. Joan’s creative passions are focused on building (or rebuilding) exterior and interior spaces in which she seeks to find that perfect balance between its usability (the functional considerations) and its aesthetics (its feeling or warmth). From landscaping to interior decoration, Joan works with new and used materials, the visual weight of form, and palettes of color and light to unify the aesthetics and purposes of spaces. |
